Hello Pikey fans! Well, it has been a while hasn’t it? That isn’t actually my fault, there has just been so much to farm that there hasn’t been enough time to party into AG and try our hand at the stuff in there. You may have probably figured this out by now, but we decided to give the Griffon Master a miss and went straight in search of Stitch. After clearing all the way there, we fell into his cleverly organised trap and we were stuck between the two portcullis were his ambush began:

What can I say other than: weak? His Ambush was countered and roles were reversed, it was infact Stitch’s ambush who actually got owned and thus conceaded some hot juicy auguments. Here is the latter stages of the Ambush with Krait about to die:

After all that happened, it was time to do when we originally went for and try our hand at Stitch and whatever else he had to offer. Well, apparently it looks like he’s going to make some spiders help him fight so it might be a bit longer before you get another update of him, who knows! Anyway, apparently the gates also lock so a few of us slackers were trapped and had to watch from the other side as we got pasted. Here’s a little screenshot of the action:

Hello Pikey fans! Before we start, please send my condolences to the other guilds who are slightly less cooler than us. Ok, now that’s out of the way, here we go! I bring an update from Ashengate! I told you I would bring you some news after our first AG raid, and well, we spent an hour or so in there so I guess that is to be classed as our first one and because of that, I need to keep to my word!

First off, here is the brand spanking new expedition box D`Pikey have unlocked:

So as you can see from that, we’ve made good progress and more and more are slowly becoming able to zone in which is great news. Since we had a lot in the zone and there was nothing else to do, we decided to take a little bit of a wander and start with the new trash. Here is the first corpse we created in our new instance:

After a bit of clearing, we found what looks like our new challenge: Griffon Master Ayna`Rym.

We decided it would be a good time to start this new challenge and try to learn a bit about it. I guess it was inevitable and the first AG wipe soon followed. It is very promising for us to have managed to get this far. There is still a couple of loose ends to tie up with the guild’s flags but I expect this chap to be dieing in the near future so stay tuned!

Another quick Recruitment status before I sign off. D`Pikey are currently looking for a couple of Rangers, SKs, Wizards, Shamans and a Warrior to strengthen up our ranks. Hello Pikey fans! Been a long couple of weeks hasn’t it? Well, the reason you haven’t heard anything from us recently is because we have been very busy trying to get the guild’s faction sorted and now things are starting to look up! With the last handful of people closing in becoming Ashengate flagged, we decided it was time to try our hand on Vergalid. The set up of the instance reminded me a lot about the GoD days and we had to take one named at a time and work our way to Vergalid’s lair.

I should start by making an apology. I wasn’t around during the first two named successes, so the screenshots are minimal and non-exsistent. Luckily, I have managed to scrape something together for the opening event from previous attempts. This was actually beaten on Sunday afternoon, but with Vergalid expected to fall on the Monday, I decided to hold off posting the update until now. So here is a nice edit of the opening event:

With no screenshots of the loot, I’m going to have to put fake hyperlinks in. I know you love them Kikthin and it’s about time you two got re-aquainted!

Event 2! Ok, this time I do not actually have any screenshots at all. We had to ‘banish Goru Uldrock, the Reincarnate’ apparently. Well, they must of done something right because he wasn’t around on Monday! I had to check the DKP logs to find out who won what:

Ok, now it’s time for the part I actually have screenshots for. Like I said earlier on, those two died on Sunday afternoon, so on the Monday we came back to finish Vergalid off. The fight didn’t take very long and it wasn’t ‘too’ challenging. Here’s a screenie towards the latter stages:

A couple of minutes later, poor Vergalid was put to rest. With the success came the task completion and flags for the guild!

Screenshots can only mean one thing… more screenshots! This time, they are of the loot! And Oh my god, guess what? NO! That’s the thing! This time the loot wasn’t in a chest, it was actually on a corpse. Can you believe it? I nearly flipped! I wonder if this will keep up – I have a feeling it won’t – but only time and fresh Ashengate kills will tell! Here is the loot:

So where does this leave us? Well, this now means we can request East Ashengate! I’m sure in the next couple of weeks we will begin Ashengate raiding for real. We are still mopping up the faction untill we can get a full raid in – but times are good and it should not be long now.
