D'Pikey

Hello again Pikey fans! Well, I’m a bit shocked to actually have to bring you this update. Thursdays are usually a quiet night for us, so the possibility of progressing much into North AG wasn’t heavily anticipated.

If you’re a fan of D`Pikey news, you’ll know that in the past I’ve tended to try and maybe create a little neatness to the updates to make them more interesting. The DK Chronicles was a way to try and organise some anticipated updates, but after D`Pikey wrecked it last time I decided to stop doing that incase something similar happened. Guess what? It has. I’ll not regret choosing to not turn AG Progression into a novel, I’ll tell you that for free!

I bet you’re thinking, ‘What the fuck Cramp you crazy little asshole’. A bit of deja-vu there I feel – but I’ll try to tell you in a nice organised manor. Let me to cast your mind back to yesterday when we beat Dyn’Leth’s Army. I left you with a screenshot of Lethar. Well, today I’ll carry on with some screenshots of Lethar. We headed off to North AG to try and learn some more about the fight, maybe even beat it. Well – we failed the first attempt I have no shame in telling you that. But, the second attempt was definately sweet payback. I hear you yelling for screenshots and I don’t like to dissapoint D`Pikey fans, so let’s get this update underway!

It was a very good win all round for us and it happened pretty early into the evening. We decided we may aswell go and find out what else AG North has to offer and head over to Veldyn’s Shade and see what that was all about. I can’t really talk this event up. We had no idea what was going to happen but for an aug event I guess we didn’t expect it to be too hard. We weren’t let down. They say pictures do the talking, so let’s give it a go!

Ok ok. Yes, there is a massive gap in his HP dropping and that is because I totally forgot I was meant to be do screenshots at the HP intervals.

This guy didn’t need to pay dkp to get on the frontpage though! I found him during the fight and called him Gary. He couldn’t wait to have his photo taken, look at his cheezy grin!

I expect right now you’re thinking that’s it for this update. Well, that’s where you are wrong my friend. With us beating this aug event on the first attempt we still had time to try to get to learn the Dyn’Leth kill. And I say that honestly, we only went to see what we could learn. We totally expected to get our asses handed to us and come back another day to finish him off. We had other plans though. Be warned, I have tons of screenshots of this so I intend to use a good few of them! You’ve still got a bit to read yet! You might want to grab a cuppa or something, don’t worry, it’ll still be here by the time you get back.

Okey dokey, time to carry on! We started up the event so I grabbed some screenshots on the text:

After that, I sent an eye up to grab a screenshot of Dyn’Leth. How gutted was I when I found out that my PC’s model was fucked. I wasn’t the only one so I don’t feel all that bad – but it will make harsh viewing. I’m sure somebody will post a screenshot on the forums if you have never seen his skin before.

Anyway, here is what I saw:

So I’ll apologise. All the screenshots of Dyn’Leth are going to be of that form. Anyway, we started it off. We had to do things slowly and keep learning along the way. First off, we pulled and killed his guards:

Next we got rid of the golems. This must of taken us a good 30minutes whilst trying to figure out what was going on.

Which left Dyn’Leth and his drakes! I was thinking about now that Dyn’Leth was going to be a mean little thing – but I was proved wrong.

Phew. Well, that is actually it for this update now. Lethar beat, and Veldyn’s Shade and Dyn’leth beat on our first attempts is pretty good. Hopefully Lethar v2.0 is not far away. I would show you a screenshot, but I forgot to grab one before we gated out.

Expect some updates soon. We will have to make a start on Frostcrypt a lot sooner than we expected which means more factioning, oh joy. I’ll leave you with an expedition box with the weeks raiding. Nice amount of loots there!

Hello Pikey fans! It has been a while since you heard from me and a lot of you were getting impatient – asking for updates when I had none to give! But this time, I do have an update to bring you and a very proud one at that. After the successes in the East and West Ashengate wings, we were actually flagged for North AG but the problem was that piggies mount up.

After several clearings of the wings we managed to get ourself a nicely flagged raid to start thinking about heading into North AG. So after finishing the second half of Deathknell that we left up on Monday night, we headed over to Direwind Cliffs and asked Jenray to kindly show us the portal up to Master Drizzlorn Un so we could get our instance.

We started off with the first event. I have to apologise for the quality of screenshots. Old models and old elementals are not the best viewing material. There is no other way to describe it other than ‘Trash’. The formal name is the Army of Dyn’Leth and I have to say, I quite enjoyed this event.

We beat it on our first go – which I am pretty impressed about. Eventhough the expedition box below shows 51, we only had 46 people at the raid. Anyway, let’s start with some screenshots! Here is a little screenshot compelation:

LOOT TIME! Everyone’s favourite part of a news update. AG has been very generous with loots, giving 2 molds and 2 other items every boss kill so it gives everyone a chance to burn their dkp and that’s what we like to see!
