A bit late on update this time , we actually won The Resplendent Temple raid last week , but here is a few pics from this weeks raid

Ok then, It’s been a while since anything really major happened in planet Pikeys. We actually beat the Sarith raid a couple of weeks ago but it was a tad anticlimatic so I decided to wait a while until we had more relevant news to post anything.

Now to start with a little piece of nostalgia.

Haha, I just hope she doesn’t murder me. Well, I can at least run away. :p

As for this next one. Does anyone recognise this cat? He’s wanted for crimes against humanity and just about everything else and is wanted dead or well just dead will do for now.

Well last week we all toddled over to Beast’s domain to have a little peak at this bloke.

We really were not expecting much yet since we still didn’t have enough Tier 3 flags to field a full raid force but what the hell. May as well scope out the raid anyway. Well after a few days of severe exp loss and major hilarity and with a raid of only 41 people this happened.

It was like woohoo.

But of course this was quickly followed by

Ninja looting ceremony.

Hmm, in fact, doesn’t this ninja looter look awefully like the Inkie posted above? There is definately a family resemblance there. :p

Anyway, we sneaked into the Resplendant Temple last night and I think between us all we lost about 10 levels. I’m absolutely sure that some boss mob gained about 50 aa in the process. Well, we got spanked good and proper but that’s the way it is. Expect news of dead temples very soon.

Veil of Alaris

Ok then. Veil of Alaris has been out now for a few weeks.

Everyone has been working hard on levels, and then on aa abilities and at the same time lots of progression. Yay for Alaran.

Well, we had a little break from raiding and stuff but we have been back now for a few weeks.

We headed over to Argath to have a peek see at what’s new there raiding wise and came accross this bloke.

A few minutes later and with a bit of this and a bit of that (choo choo) he was reduced to this state of affairs.

And finally we get

Followed by the good stuff.

You will notice that AS USUAL Adroxia is Ninjaing all the best loot for herself.

This was all actually done 3 weeks ago and since then we have beaten this fight twice more. This now means that a good part of the guild now possessess

Which meant we were able to move onto the next raid in Sarith.

We moved over to Sarith and came across some pretty dodgy priest bloke and a fish fixation. I think he keeps sharks as a hobby. Nice safe hobby of course.

Well after having a nice dinner of shark fin soup we just had to give this bloke a right good spanking.

Which was followed by the obligary spam.

And then of course Adroxia ninjaed the chest again.

We then moved on to Valley to help out some of our facourite gods. I’m not sure why we would actually want to help Rallos Zek with and not just kill the sucker but there you go. We must be getting soft in our old age.

We’ve been working our way through Valley raid for a short while now so expect some more juicy piccies.

And finally to end on for now.

Veil of Alaris – YAY

Well here we go.

I just wanted to give a little update as to the state of play with Pikeys and how things are going.

It is that time of the year again and time for a new expansion.

Veil of alaris has now been out for appromimately a week and we are all beavering away to hit 95th level and get some progression in.

We are basically having a little break from Raiding right now in order to max out levels and flags and languages and stuff so not much to really say right now but we are still going strong and expect to be posting a lot of great new news in the very near future.

So that said, time for everyone to wake up, get lots of experience, and charge in and DIE A LOT. hehe

I shall say Tattie bye for now but expect more news really soon.

Erm Well, yes. Ok, I’m not sure how I managed to make the text black on a black background. LOL. That means no one could read what I posted.I’ve fixed it now. ………

Well there she goes. Last night we logged on expecting some more testing on SS7, No one expected to actually beat it. Hahaha

Now who could possibly have expected the other night for this bloke above to eat this cat below. Imagine the shame…….. Ok well we beat the expansion a couple of nights later so I’m sure that was enough consolation for her in the end. And for goodness sake Adonhiram, this isn’t the time to be hungry….. Hehe

Ok,back to the important stuff.

We came into the ss7 area and killed some of this and some of that and then this bloke with a large phalis poking out his head appeared. some people thought he was cute and tried to stroke him. they got eaten and regretted it instantly. Just imagine more dead kitty piccies below. :p

After a while of killing him and him vanishing and more trash killing and more fighting he seemed to metamorphose into this…

Someone badly needs to inform that bloody necro to stop ninjaing the loot.

Ok now let’s see. what goodies did we get anyway.

I’m sure everyone would wish to congratulate us on a fine expansion win. We seem to have beaten ss5, ss6 and ss7 a lot faster than we apparantly should have so a big YAY to us for that.

Also, up to 13th guild to beat the expansion is another big RAR and YAY to us. I have no idea what RAR and YAY are meant to mean but Adroxia uses them a lot and she scares most of us so RAR and YAY it is.

Now roll on the farming and then the new expansion. So far I’ve not seen any information about the new expansion but we still have about 5 months until it comes out so we have lots of time to farm Sanctum Somnium and stuff in order to catch up with the guilds ahead of us. Roll on the next expansion and a top 10 or even top 5 expansion finish.

Yay Pikeys, the bus just keeps rolling on.

Hmm, just when you thought it was safe to come out at night the Pikeys bus rolls in. It’s been a while since we beat Morell’s Castle but then we visited Sanctum Somnium.

Not a win in a while and then they come in just like buses. In our first night in Sanctum Somnium we beat events 1 and 2 and then the next night we beat events 3 and 4.

Now ok, all that said and done we managed to go and do something bad last night. We actually beat Sanctum Somnium event 5. OMG!!!!! There is only so much that can be put into one news update. The fact is that we did beat event 5 last night and tonight we even came closish to beating event 6. Well, it felt like we were getting close to beating event 6. I could be wrong, knowing our luck something else will happen after we do what we are doing. Will serve me right if I am right. Hahaha.

Ok I think this is enough for one update. I have lots of screenies to sort out for event 5 so I can post those easily tomorow once they are all sorted and edited.

May the Pikeys bus keep rolling and expect an expansion finished very very soon now.

Okey… what can I say. Jeril and I really don’t have the time to post newsupdates on a regular basis any longer. But it is too fun and we have just been itching to tell you all about our latest and exciting new adventures and couldn’t quite stay away.

Sorry Wabb, I beat you to the scoop, it’s because I have the benefit of bardspeed and you have short legs ;p

The new and uncharted territory was Morrels Castle where we met, amongst others, Mr. Sandman – who clearly has misunderstood his job description.

There was no sleeping allowed and he definitely didn’t bring any dreams.

We decided that we just had to make our own dreams.

Once we had made up our minds… Purrfection proclaimed that this scenery was the purrfect place to reign, lots of stairs and confusing places for a cat to run around.

There was no way of stopping the Purrinator and holding back was no longer an option.

And the Kingdom of D’Pikey was anointed in the blood of its predecessors.

Now unfortunally, I have no pictures of loots *booooh*, the slackness is too slack. But what is worse is that I didn’t get any of the excellent items that was offered (true scandal, call the tabloids).

We will have to correct that issue on our next win which will hopefully be soon because Purrfection and Adroxia has great plans on how to expand the newly acquired kingdom.

The proximity of Sanctum Somnium presents an obvious choice.

However, its current inhabitants were reluctant to subjugate themselves without a fight.

Well… after practicing some more bandaging during the Easter holidays I’m sure we will have recouperated enough to force our way through their defences.

PS. Any mean remarks about gnomes surely must have been planted by enemies from the dark side. Here in the land of big rods there is only kindness and true bliss. Also, pie.

Well, first off it’s great to back at it again. I’ve been out of it for a while for various reasons but I’m BACK. We’re all doomed. Hahaha

The members of Pikeys were feeling a bit polca dot

Many members showed up for last raid of the year

With hopes of good tidings and many a cheer

For Ritual of Terror we headed with haste

Although some of us would think it a waste

We entered pyramids where weird lizards stayed

And one after one the lizards were slayed

And all of a sudden, like a shock to us all

The HoT raid was beaten, achievements to all

And up by a temple, a chest then appeared

It was clear it was left by the man with the beard

And inside the chest there was packages found

Tagged for some guildies who’d been nice all year ’round

Some new gloves for Conjurous, to protect him from cold

And for Lagarta a helmet, to replace her old

Ninorzkaya got a necklace, isn’t it grand

And Tutankhamo is carrying a new wand in his hand

In Blademasterx parcel, there was a shield

The augmentation for Draakx, wonder what it will yield

Then the guild scurried on to the Ground(s)

Where an entirely new adventure was found

The lateness of all made a few of us yawn

But Thornbustle waited there across the lawn

Adroxia ordered for focus though late

Our leader was sure that a win was our fate

Now tanks, come on healers and dps go!

Get aggro, debuff it and full burn like so.

And we worked all together ’til Thornbustle was dead

And many new achievements now could be read

And under his corpse a new chest was hidden

Filled with new gifts from Santug, that were to be given

Ladi got the first one that contained some new arm

And Opalla a weapon so she’d do more harm

Blackfighterx got this mask, I hope he’s not allergic

And Origo a wrist, he was very energic

In the last package Edrum recieved a new shoulder

Convorteum Caper Continues – Creation Confounded

This past Sunday D`Pikeys pillaged the entire Convorteum leaving no creature unscathed,

no chest unplundered.

We finally got to reacquaint ourselves with this little hunchback called The First Creation.

After some short negotiations it was clear he was not going to give up the goods, so Purrfection made the challenge; handbags at dawn!

The fight got going and when the going got tough suddenly orders came from above (aka. Adroxia):

“Off with his head!!!”

Said and done… wait a minute? Where the *beep* is his head?

Not getting head, several upset members consoled themselves by ransacking the Creations secret stash.

PS. Some of you who have followed us more closely might have noticed that there is one event missing.

A couple of weeks ago D’Pikey did some walzing with The Sisters.

After a fair bit of stepping on toes and some difficulties in keeping the correct tempo, D’Pikey was the belle of the ball leaving the sisters run down, crying their hearts out.

And if you notices the tiny cat that somehow managed to sneak his way into most of the pictures, I have no idea why. Was not like I was eyeing him up or anything promise >.<

Criminal mastermind Purrfection has been spotted by witnesses. Police have yet to catch the cat who is believed to be armed with a purple handbag and dangerous.

According to witnesses she is currently disguised as a circus worker. If you see her, don’t try to apprehend her by yourself, instead contact local authorities.

During this last week Convorteum has been struck by a series of robberies against their facilities. Several employees have been injured in the attacks. Police state that it is clearly a professional crew that has executed the attacks. D’Pikey is one of their lead suspects. The Underfoot Herald Tribune is proud to be able to share our interviews with three of their latest victims.

The Unstable Creation was one of their first targets.

He claims to have lost some of his most valuable possessions which he stored in a chest in the back of his quarters.

Hmm, yes. Well, We are still on a bit of a high after beating the queen a couple of weeks ago and since beating her we have been working on Trial of Deconstruction so we thought we would toodle over and sort out some more progression on this particular raid. We were going along nicely and then something very anti-social happened. I died. Well ok some people probably wouldn’t lose much sleep over this. So, I got a rezz and once I came out of zoning Adroxia was linking all this crap into the guild channel. I was like “Hmm what the hell just happened” And to my amazement we had actually just beaten the event. I don’t think anyone was quite expecting this but it was a very pleasant feeling. hehe

There arn’t really any screenshots to post about the event itself. It’s just one of those events.

Well the summer has been upon us for a while now and as usual we have good nights and then we have bad nights. Hopefully once the kids go back to school it will be full steam ahead BUT on Sunday we were having a pretty good day of it so we went and beat up Guardians. Then it was choice time, go and try the Queen and see if we can progress farther than before or take a visit to our good chum Brath.

It was decided to visit her majesty……..

We wern’t expecting much , hopefully to progress a little and beat her sorry ass soon but a very nice thing happened. We had a pretty much full raid and in the end this is what was left…….

So you can all imagine how happy we all were at this point.
